Our Summer Workshop 2024, 3rdEdition, aims to provide participants with the tools to discover new insights into the translational event of their specimen by capturing ribosomes in action.
Process 6 samples alongside one of our technical scientists to learn everything about ribosome profiling and tRNA usage with IMMAGINA technologies. After collecting active ribosomes with the RiboLace kit, participants will produce in parallel:
i)RiboSeq libraries for acquiringribosomes positional information at nucleotide resolution,
ii) ribo embedded tRNAseq libraries to quantify full-length, native state tRNAs and detect tRNAs chemical modifications
The workshop will take place August 26th – September 3rd, 2024, in our facility in Pergine (Trento, Italy).
The cost of the workshop includes the wet and dry lab training mentioned above, all reagents required for sample processing, in-depth discussions with our technical team and with bio-industry speakers, all lunches, and a social event with the group. Travel costs and evening meals are not included and will be covered by the participant.Special discounted price for student and Post-Doc available (please contact us)
Onsite accommodation in our student guesthouse is available free of charge for the first 2 registered student participants. Offsite accommodation can also be arranged for a minimal fee.
Sequencing and analysis of tRNA libraries are included in the costs*, while for RiboSeq libraries we offer a range of additional services to be quoted separately (sequencing, RiboSeq data analysis and Translation efficiency calculation).
If you are interested in participating in this immersive technical training, please fill in the participation intention form here, before July 10th, 2024.
Please note that number of participants is limited and that the workshop will take place only if the minimum number of participants in reached.
*the tRNA sequencing technology is a new service at Immagina. For workshop purposes, its price is reduced as we're covering the cost of the reagents (up to 6 samples per institute)
